Macintyre's Drop is a 12 year old blended Scotch whisky, aged in oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The malt sweetness is joined by caramel, vanilla, ripe fruit and warming oak spice.
The nose is soft, with malt and caramel, vanilla, ripe fruit and gentle woody notes. On the palate it is smooth and rounded, with sweet malt, toffee, vanilla and fruit, moving into subtle spice and mature oak. The finish is mellow and warming, with lingering caramel sweetness, gentle spice and dry oak.
