This is a seven-year-old aged rum from the MacNair's Exploration range, made by the Glenallachie Distillers Company in a 70cl bottle. It began in American oak in Panama's tropical climate before moving to The GlenAllachie Distillery in Speyside.
After blending, the rum had a second maturation in red wine, virgin oak and ex-Bourbon casks.
On the palate it brings banana, papaya and mango, with coconut, toffee, orange zest and a hint of pineapple.
