MacNair's Exploration Rum is a 15 year old aged rum from Panama, made by The GlenAllachie Distillers Company and sold in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit first matured in American oak in the tropical Panamanian climate, then travelled to The GlenAllachie Distillery in Speyside. After blending, it had a second maturation in red wine, virgin oak and ex-Bourbon casks.
On the palate come pineapple, mango and peaches, followed by treacle, coconut and orange zest.
