Macnair's Lum Reek 21 Year Old is a small-batch blended malt Scotch whisky, made by marrying single malts from Islay and Speyside, both peated and unpeated, and including aged GlenAllachie single malt.
It was matured at the GlenAllachie distillery in Oloroso sherry, red wine and virgin oak casks. It is bottled without added colour or chill-filtration.
The colour is rich butterscotch. The nose brings subtle peat smoke, dark chocolate shavings, runny honey and vanilla fudge. The palate has old leather, cedarwood and gentle peat, with cocoa, vanilla pods and sweet spices.
