MacNair's Lum Reek Blended Peated Malt Scotch Whisky

MacNair's Lum Reek is a blended peated malt created by Billy Walker. Heavily peated Islay and Speyside malts are married with full-bodied GlenAllachie whisky, then filled into selected casks. These matured at the GlenAllachie distillery until Billy Walker made the final selection for blending. It is neither coloured nor chill-filtered. The name comes from the Hogmanay wish "Lang may yer lum reek", meaning long may your chimney smoke. The nose has crisp peat, malt sugar and dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied, with sharp peat smoke, vanilla, malt sugar and tannins, followed by bog myrtle and sweet spices.
