Maker's Mark – 46 Bourbon (70cl, 47%)

Maker's Mark 46 is a bourbon in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 47% abv. It starts as the original Maker's Mark, which is emptied from its barrels so that extra French oak staves can be added. The whisky then goes back into the barrel and is aged until it is ready. The result, according to the maker's approach, is a distinct caramel and toasted oak flavour without the bitterness that often comes with longer-aged whiskies.
