Maker's Mark 46 is a Kentucky bourbon, bottled at 47% vol. in a 70cl bottle.
Unlike the standard Maker's Mark, it spends a further few months maturing in French oak casks. The level of toasting on those casks was settled through a series of trials, and trial number 46 gave the best result, which is where the name comes from.
