Maker's Mark 46 is a Kentucky straight bourbon created by Master Distiller Bill Samuels Jr. as a refinement of the original Maker's Mark. It is bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle.
To make it, ten freshly toasted French oak staves are added to the finished bourbon for nine weeks.
In the tasting notes it is amber in colour, with oak, sweet caramel and vanilla on the nose. The palate brings very strong oak, fine vanilla and more caramel, and the finish is medium in length, dry and very soft.
