Maker's 46 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Maker's Mark Distillery, bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is based on the standard Maker's Mark expression, with added spice rather than meant as a rival to it.
The extra spice comes from seared French oak staves placed inside the barrels. The stave profile is number 46, which gives the bourbon its name.
