Maker's Mark – Cask Strength 2023 (75cl, 55.5%)

Maker's Mark Cask Strength 2023 is a wheated bourbon bottled straight from the barrel without dilution, at 111 proof (55.5%), in a 750ml bottle. The 2023 release keeps the soft wheat character of the standard Maker's Mark, with more concentrated vanilla, oak and baking spice than the 90-proof bottling. The nose is of heavily toasted oak, dark caramel, vanilla bean and a hint of sweet tobacco. On the palate come brown sugar, vanilla cream and dark cherry, with warming cinnamon. The finish is very long and smooth, with caramel and seasoned oak.
