This is the second annual limited release in the Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series, a Kentucky bourbon built on the vanilla and caramel character of the standard Maker's Mark.
It is made using two stave profiles, SE4 and PR5, together.
The nose is heavy with vanilla and spiced caramel. On the palate there is butter pecan ice cream, creamy vanilla and butter, dry spice and caramelised sweetness, followed by a long, round, dry finish.
