Maltman Secret Speyside 30 Years 1993 (70cl, 45.2%)

A 30 year old single cask Speyside single malt from Maltman, bottled at 45.2% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is not named. The whisky was distilled in January 1993, matured in a sherry cask and bottled in February 2023, with 687 bottles filled. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose is sweet sherry with honey and walnut cake, plus cinnamon and ginger. On the palate come warming orange liqueur and golden syrup, sweet melon, ginger biscuits and chocolate cake. The finish brings more chocolate, with gingerbread and cinnamon.
