Manulele Distillers Kōhana Kea Hawaiian Agricole Rum (40%)

Kōhana Kea is an unaged agricole-style rum made from heirloom Kea sugarcane on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. The cane is hand-harvested and pressed to juice, then fermented with a proprietary yeast and distilled in a custom copper and stainless hybrid still. Produced by Manulele Distillers, it is made without added sugar or blending and reflects a farm-to-bottle approach. It is suited to sipping neat or in cocktails. The nose is grassy and floral, with banana blossom and a subtle saline note. The palate is bright, with tropical fruit sweetness, creamy butterscotch, fresh cream and earthy undertones. The finish is clean, dry and gently herbaceous, with lingering floral and saline notes.
