Mars Kasei is a Japanese blended whisky from Shinshu Mars, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was reopened in 2011 after a period of closure and has produced whisky continuously since, working with both peated and unpeated styles.
The nose is very floral, with ripe fruit and a hint of smoke. The palate brings mild honey, green apples and light grapes. The finish is medium in length, with citrus, sweet vanilla and flowers.
