Mars Tsunuki 2022 (70cl, 50%)

Tsunuki is a blended Japanese whisky from the Shinshu Mars distillery, in its 2022 edition. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was reopened in 2011 after a period of closure and has produced whisky continuously since. It works with both peated and unpeated malt. The nose is ripe, sweet fruit with baked sweets. On the palate come passion fruit, caramel, vanilla pastry and gentle chocolate. The finish is long, with lingering caramel sweetness and cereal notes.
