An amber Marsala from Pellegrino, with an intense amber colour and golden reflections. The nose shows complex notes of dried fruit such as figs and plums, with hints of vanilla and sweet tobacco. On the palate it balances moderate sweetness with pleasant freshness, tasting surprisingly dry for a Marsala. It is made with controlled-temperature fermentation and long ageing in oak casks. Suitable as an aperitif or with aged cheeses and meat dishes.
