Pellegrino Tareni Frappato IGT

A red wine from Sicily made by Pellegrino, representing the Frappato grape. It has a vivid ruby colour with purple to garnet reflections. The nose offers fresh red fruits such as strawberries and cherries, violet floral accents, a light spicy note recalling black pepper and powder, plus delicate aromatic herbs. On the palate it is light and fruity, with good acidity balancing soft tannins and a notable aromatic persistence. It pairs with Mediterranean dishes, especially fish and white meats, fresh or semi-aged cheeses, and is best served slightly chilled at about 16-18°C.
