A grappa from Bonaventura Maschio in Veneto, made from white grapes with Cervia salt added to the fermenting grapes. The salt is said to help the conversion of sugars and the extraction of aromas. It is bottled at 39% vol in a 50cl bottle.
It is clear in the glass. The nose is delicately fruity and floral, with pear, peach and dog rose. The palate is soft and elegant, spiced and slightly savoury.
