McConnell's Sherry Cask Finish is an Irish whiskey, a blend of Irish malt and Irish grain whisky aged for five years.
It rests first in bourbon casks and is then finished in Oloso sherry casks. The brand goes back to the brothers John and James McConnell, who built their business in Belfast.
On the nose, expect dried figs, dark chocolate and lingering spice.
