Meikle Toir 'The Sherry One' is a 5 year old peated single malt Scotch whisky from GlenAllachie, and part of the distillery's peated range.
Meikle Toir, pronounced mee-kuhl-tor, means big pursuit. GlenAllachie began making peated spirit in 2018, and only for a few weeks each year. Around 100,000 litres of peated new make are produced annually, while the rest of the distillery's output goes to its unpeated single malt.
