A Merlot from Cotarella, made from selected Merlot grapes grown in Lazio. It has an intense ruby colour and combines elegance with softness, freshness and well-integrated tannic structure. Wood ageing adds delicate vanilla and lightly spicy notes to aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with slight herbaceous hints. The palate is enveloping, with a clean, harmonious finish. It pairs with red meats, roasts, aged cheeses and Mediterranean dishes.
