Method & Madness Single Grain Irish Whiskey (75cl)

This is a single grain Irish whiskey matured in first fill bourbon casks and then finished in virgin Spanish oak casks. The release started from a simple question: what happens when a single grain whiskey leaves the familiar behind and meets Spanish oak. The result sets gentle wood spice against the natural sweetness of the grain. The nose has new pencil shavings, light rose petal and fresh rain on pine. The palate brings warm toasted oak, freshly peeled grapefruit and zesty wood spices. The finish is sweet cereal with clove spiciness and fresh mint.
