Clearach is a single malt from Michel Couvreur, distilled in Scotland and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It matured for between two and three years in fresh sherry casks, and has a very clear amber tint.
The nose is typical of a very young malt, with almonds and frangipane, a grassy freshness and a slight touch of honey. In the mouth it is lively, with a silky elegance from the wine cask maturation and the flavours of first vinous impregnations.
