Michel Couvreur V.J. Maturation 2011 (50cl, 48%)

Michel Couvreur V.J. Maturation is a single cask whisky distilled in Scotland on 15 February 2011. It then spent more than ten years maturing in Burgundy, in Stephane Tissot Jura Vin Jaune casks. It was bottled on 22 June 2021 at 48% without chill filtration, in a 50cl bottle. The edition is numbered and runs to 3000 bottles worldwide. Michel Couvreur buys Scottish spirit and matures it in a damp cellar in Burgundy, and this bottling is described as bringing plenty of complexity and spice.
