Michter's 10 Year Old Single Barrel Straight Rye is a limited bottling from the 2023 release, matured for ten years in fire-charred new American oak barrels. The barrels are hand-selected, and it is bottled at 46.4% (92.8 proof) without chill-filtering.
The nose is rich with vanilla and warm toffee, followed by toasted almonds and gentle cinnamon. The palate brings crushed pepper balanced by subtle citrus, with a smooth mouthfeel. The finish is long and warming, layered with spice and oak.
