Michter's US*1 Small Batch Unblended American Whiskey (70cl)

This is a small batch unblended American whiskey from Michter's, in a 70cl bottle. It is aged in refill bourbon barrels, which the producer credits for making it one of the creamiest and mellowest Michter's expressions. The nose is candied and sweet, with peach, barrel char, a faint buttery note, cinnamon, nutmeg, menthol and candied orange peel. On the palate there is a soft mouthfeel, sweet spice and gentle fruit, with barrel char, leather, tobacco, toffee and butterscotch. The finish is well balanced, with the sweet spices gently fading.
