Michter's US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 45.7%)

Michter's US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish is a Kentucky straight bourbon, first introduced in the autumn of 2014. It starts as Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon, aged in new, fire-charred American white oak, and is then aged for a further period in a second barrel. That second barrel is made from wood air-dried for 18 months and toasted rather than charred. Nothing else is added or done to the bourbon. It is bottled at 45.7% ABV. Campfire and cinnamon come first, with pecan and candied fruit, and the finish lingers with baked pears, vanilla and marshmallow.
