A 13-year-old Miltonduff single malt from Scotland, bottled at a cask strength of 59.8%. It is one of 85 bottles from a single cask, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky began in a refill bourbon hogshead and was then finished for 12 months in a first-fill Amontillado sherry barrique. It opens Series IV of Permutations, and the artwork, by Scottish artist Orla Stevens, shows the Birnie Symbol Stone, a 7th century Pictish stone a few miles from the distillery. The finish is described as layers of stewed fruit and brown sugar that fade away slowly.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
