This is a 17 year old Miltonduff from a single refill sherry butt, bottled by Elixir Distillers for The Single Malts of Scotland series. It was distilled on 12 November 2007 and bottled on 29 April 2025 at a cask strength of 59.6%, in a 70cl bottle. The cask gave 625 bottles, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers citrus and floral honey over vanilla and delicate nuts, with raisins, dates, figs, dark chocolate, toasted nuts and a touch of leather. The palate is full and oily, with intense dried fruit, forest honey, caramel, candied orange and brown sugar, and the finish is long and warming, with dried fruit, oak spice and soft sherry.
