A single cask Miltonduff from Speyside, distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2019 at 30 years old by Gordon & MacPhail for its Connoisseurs Choice series. It is bottled without colouring or chill filtration.
The whisky matured in a single refill bourbon barrel and yielded 110 bottles at its natural cask strength of 53.1%, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is sweet ripe apple with orange peel and a subtle hint of vanilla. On the palate, malted cereal develops alongside cracked black pepper and a hint of lime zest.
