Miltonduff – 2009 12 Year Old Infrequent Flyers

Miltonduff 12 Year Old is a single malt distilled on 17 November 2009 and bottled in March 2022. It was finished in a Sauternes hogshead and filled to only 304 bottles. It is release 83 in the Infrequent Flyers series from Alistair Walker Whisky. The nose is fruity and very sweet, with stewed apricots and peaches, cantaloupe melon, chocolate mousse and toasted muscovado sugar. The palate is lively and intensely fruity, with raisins, sultanas and apricots, followed by jam, toasted oak and a little crushed black pepper in the finish.
