This Miltonduff was distilled in April 2011 and bottled in November 2023 after twelve years in a sherry cask. It is a single cask bottling for Duncan Taylor, drawn only from cask 83900087 and numbering 358 bottles. At a cask strength of 54.4% in a 70cl bottle, it is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.
The sherry maturation pairs floral notes with a fruity, spicy character.
The nose has buttered toast and blackberry jam with violets, lilac and fresh grass. On the palate are rum-soaked raisins, gingerbread, juicy cherries, Seville oranges and baked apple. The long finish holds sweet sherry fruit, strong oak spice and caramelised nuts.
