Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt (70cl, 40%)

Monkey Shoulder is a blended malt Scotch whisky from William Grant, made from single malts from three Speyside distilleries. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and is described as smooth, creamy and very malty. It is suggested neat, over ice or in whisky cocktails. The nose brings marmalade, Crema Catalana, cocoa and malt, with vanilla, winter spice and a hint of aniseed. The palate is malty and creamy with berry fruit, toasted barley, cloves and butterscotch, then Manuka honey, buttered toast and dried apricot. The finish is medium in length, with spicy oak and a hint of peppermint.
