Montevetrano Colli di Salerno Rosso IGT is a robust, complex red wine from the Montevetrano winery.
It shows an intense ruby red colour. The nose offers mature blackberry and dark cherry, black pepper, tobacco and a delicate leather note. On the palate it has a velvety texture with pleasant tannic softness balanced by lively acidity, with mature fruit, dark chocolate and vanilla from barrique ageing.
The wine is well balanced and suits hearty dishes such as roast meat, game and aged cheeses.
