Morris Australian Single Malt Whisky Signature (70cl, 40%)

Morris Signature is an Australian single malt from Morris of Rutherglen, a family wine business that has made whisky since 2016. It is distilled in Rutherglen, in north-east Victoria, from locally sourced barley and water from the Snowy Mountains, in a reconditioned copper pot still from the 1930s. The whisky matures first in French and American oak wine casks from family-run Barossa and Coonawarra wineries, then in the house's own fortified wine casks that previously held Muscat and Tokay (Topaque). It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with no added colour. Biscuit notes balance cherry, cocoa and dark berries.
