Mosgaard – Organic Single Malt Whisky Oloroso Cask (50cl, 48%)

Mosgaard Organic Single Malt Whisky Oloroso Cask is a Danish single malt made from organically grown Danish barley. After a long fermentation it is distilled twice in a purpose-built copper pot still. It matured in a small, custom-built cask that previously held Oloroso sherry, which gives extra contact with the wood and a faster maturation. Bottled at 48% in a 50cl bottle, it won a double gold medal at the Berlin International Spirits Competition in 2020. The flavours include malt, caramel, peach, dried fruit, nuts, pear and citrus.
