This is a Danish organic single malt from Mosgaard, made from organically grown Danish barley and distilled twice in a custom-built copper pot still. It was matured for four years in small 50-litre casks fitted with staves from Ruby and Tawny port, which add winey and spicy notes. It was bottled in July 2023 at 49% as batch 4718, with 400 bottles filled. It won silver at the World Whisky Awards 2021 and gold at BISC 2020 with 94 points. The palate shows dark grapes, coffee, caramel, plum, aniseed, bitter almond, cinnamon and apple.
