Motörhead 50 Year Old Single Grain Scotch Whisky Sansibar Edition (70cl, 51.4%)

This single grain Scotch whisky was bottled by Sansibar to mark the 50th anniversary of the rock band Motörhead. It was distilled in 1973 and matured for fifty years in a sherry cask. It is bottled at a cask strength of 51.4% ABV, without added colour or chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The edition is limited to 150 bottles worldwide and comes in a box designed with the band in mind. The nose offers dried fruit, spice and a hint of oak. The palate is full-bodied, balancing sweet and spicy elements. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit and subtle oak spice.
