Mull's Finest 2014/2025 10 Year Old Calvados Cask Finish Murray McDavid (70cl, 52.9%)

This is a 10-year-old single malt from Murray McDavid's Mull's Finest range, distilled in 2014 on the Isle of Mull. It was bottled in autumn 2025 at 52.9% in a 70cl bottle, from two casks, giving 647 bottles. The whisky first matured in bourbon barrels, then spent four years in first fill barriques that previously held Calvados from the Pays d'Auge. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose offers smoked apple and grassy notes with sweet citrus. On the palate, candied pear and lemon meet coastal peat. The finish joins sweet smoke, orchard fruit and grapefruit.
