A 60 year old single grain Scotch whisky from Dumbarton, bottled by Murray McDavid as part of its ULTRA collection. The spirit was distilled in the Lowlands on Christmas Day 1964 and matured in oak casks in Scottish warehouses. It is bottled at natural cask strength, with natural colour and without chill filtration. The outturn is 200 bottles. The notes describe wild floral honey, baked lemon and spring orchard fruit on the nose, with salted butter and cloves. Nutmeg, marmalade and creamy chocolate follow on the palate, and the finish brings apple pastry and pear.
