Nagahama 2018/2022 3 Year Old Bourbon Peated #0314 (50cl, 61.2%)

This is a peated Japanese single malt from Nagahama Distillery, distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2022 at three years old. It was matured in a single bourbon cask, number 0314, and bottled at a cask strength of 61.2% in a 50cl bottle. Only 294 bottles were filled, without chill filtration and without added colouring. The nose is smoky, with sweet vanilla and subtle fruit. The palate is powerful, with peat smoke, oak and a hint of caramel. The finish is long, warm and spicy, with smoke lingering throughout.
