This is a non-peated Japanese single malt from Nagahama, part of the distillery's Fragrant Collaboration series made with Bankoku Coffee, a roaster from Yamagata. It was distilled on 1 September 2021 and bottled on 28 November 2025 at a cask strength of 57.6% ABV.
After its first maturation, the whisky spent time in bourbon casks that had previously held aromatic coffee beans. Only 334 bottles were released, each of 50cl.
The first nose is said to recall a creamy café latte, with espresso and dark chocolate to follow. The palate is led by rich coffee, and the finish carries cacao and bourbon-cask sweetness.
