A Japanese whisky from the Nagahama distillery, in a 50cl bottle at 56.2% ABV and limited to 501 bottles. It is a blend of whiskies matured in a Tanba cask, which held Japanese wine, and a small Swedish octave cask.
Nagahama sits inside a brewery and uses what is described as the smallest still in Japan, heated indirectly with steam. Its water comes from a lake on Mount Ibuki, and the malted barley is currently Scottish.
Young, delicate, fruity and gourmand, it is described with notes of citrus, chocolate, berries, flowers and spices.
