Nebbiolo Rosso Ghemme DOCG Riserva 2012 Torraccia

A Nebbiolo from the hills of Ghemme, in the province of Novara, made from selected grapes harvested by hand and aged in wooden casks. In the glass it shows an intense ruby colour with garnet reflections. The nose offers ripe red fruits, faded violet and light spicy notes evoking earth and undergrowth. On the palate it is firm, with soft, well-integrated tannins and pleasant acidity. It suits grilled red meats and rich first courses such as truffle risotto.
