Nevis Dew Blue Label (70cl, 40%)

Nevis Dew Blue Label is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Ben Nevis malt is married with selected grain and malt whiskies from other distilleries. It is chill-filtered and coloured. Blue Label continues the whisky once called Millennium Blend, which won gold at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2000. The nose opens with fresh lemon, then apricot, herbs and oat pastry over malt, roasted nuts and wood, with a faint background smoke. The palate is soft and almost oily, with apple pie, strongly roasted walnut, yellow pear and caramel, spiced by cinnamon, coriander and white pepper. The finish is restrained and medium in length.
