This is a single barrel straight bourbon from New Louisville Barrel House in Louisville, Kentucky, released for the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026. It comes from Barrel C384 and was aged for nine years in new charred oak.
It was bottled straight from the barrel at 131.2 proof (65.6%) in a 750ml bottle. The label shows fireworks over the White House, American flags and a comic-style George Washington.
The nose opens with vanilla, toasted caramel and ripe stone fruit, edged with cinnamon and charred oak. The palate is rich and full bodied, with dark cherry, butterscotch, baking spice and roasted grain. The finish is long and warming, with lingering spice and oak.
