New Louisville Hide the Bottle Christmas Edition is a 7 year old straight bourbon from New Louisville Barrel House, bottled at 132.2 proof, or 66.1% ABV, in a 750ml bottle.
It is a limited edition with a Christmas theme, and the label shows an elf beside a fireplace. Seven years of maturation underpin its flavours of caramel, vanilla, oak and baking spice.
In the tasting notes, the nose is caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and dark cherry. The palate is full-bodied and warming, with toffee, cinnamon and barrel char, leading to a long finish of oak, caramel and warm spice.
