A seven-year-old straight bourbon from New Louisville Barrel House, finished in Maple Brûlée barrels and bottled at 65.4% ABV (130.8 proof) in a 70cl bottle. This Christmas edition is a limited release.
The label shows a snowman among stacks of pancakes in a winter scene. The barrel finish adds notes of maple syrup, brûléed sugar, toasted vanilla, cinnamon and pastry to the bourbon's caramel and vanilla.
The nose offers maple syrup, caramel, vanilla bean, toasted oak, brown sugar, cinnamon and baked pastry. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with layers of maple.
