Nicolucci Sangiovese Superiore Tre Rocche (1.5L)

A Sangiovese Superiore from Nicolucci, presented in a 1500 ml magnum. It shows a medium ruby colour, with aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, light floral notes and a hint of sweet spice. The palate is medium-bodied, with balanced freshness and well-calibrated tannins, and a pleasant persistence. The magnum suits convivial occasions and pairs with meat dishes, roasts, savoury sauces and medium-aged cheeses. Brief decanting or opening ahead of service is suggested, and it is best served at around 16-18 C.
