Sangiovese di Romagna DOC - Tre Rocche - Nicolucci

A red wine from Romagna, made from Sangiovese grown on clay-rich, very dry hills around Predappio. The berries are large and oval, and the wine ages briefly in cask before continuing in bottle before release. It shows a violet-tinged garnet red colour. Pomegranate and violet aromas rise from the glass. The palate is velvety and dry, round and rightly tannic. It is suggested with first courses and meats in general, and also with blue fish and fish soup.
